| First off...WOW! I was pulled in right away with the title. I just had to know, who, what, and why. I was immediately sucked into the story, the book starts balls to the walls and I just knew I was going to enjoy reading it. To be honest it didn't take me long to read it, I read fast because I had to know what was going to happen next. You Loved Me At My Darkest is, well, dark, but it is also seductive, suspenseful, heart wrenching at times, has a MAJOR twist that will knock your socks off and above all, well written. I want to give nothing away so the only thing I will say is that this book is about human trafficking. A hard thing to read about but you want to read this book, because even though its a tough subject to read, Evie weaves a beautiful love story inside to ease the sting of it. 4.5 stars |
